Penn & Teller - Vegas Magicians

The Top 5 Magic Shows in Las Vegas

***UPDATED FOR 2018***

There are literally dozens of magic shows in Las Vegas. From mind reading to illusions, there’s something for everybody. But which one is right for you?

As a magician and mentalist, I’ve seen hundreds of shows over the years. Here are my personal TOP 5 Magic Shows in Las Vegas:

Best Illusion Show

David CopperfieldDavid Copperfield @ MGM
David Copperfield is a living legend. He’s won countless awards, and audiences all over the world love him.

David combines original illusions with immersive storytelling. And his grand illusions are the best I’ve ever seen. Plus, the theater is more intimate than you’d expect, so almost every seat has a GREAT view.

Best Matinee/Family Show

Mac KingMac King @ Harrah’s
Don’t let the plaid suit fool you, Mac King is a world-class comedy magician.

This is a fantastic family-friendly show filled with great comedy and surprising magic. Like a great Disney film, it’s a show that kids AND adults will love. Be prepared to LAUGH.

Best Bargain

Nathan BurtonNathan Burton Comedy Magic @ Saxe Theater, Planet Hollywood
Nathan Burton is a great magician with a warm personality people can relate to. His show features large illusions, sexy showgirls (kid-friendly) and zany comedy.

This is a BIG show, and a BARGAIN by Vegas entertainment standards, with tickets often available for under $30. Bring the family.

Best Mentalism Show

Frederic Da SilvaFrederic Da Silva @ Bally’s Las Vegas
Frederic Da Silva will make you believe in mindreading! Frederic is an incredible showman, and his high-energy show has the highest ratings on TripAdvisor.

If you’ve never seen mentalism performed on stage before, this is the show to see. Appropriate for all ages… but I recommend 13+ for mentalism.

My Favorite Las Vegas Magic Show

Penn & TellerPenn & Teller @ The Rio
Many Las Vegas magic shows focus on large illusions and sexy assistants. Penn & Teller are different. They do a smart show filled with original tricks that leave you thinking.

If you enjoy what they do on their TV series FOOL US, then you’ll love this show.

FYI: This show may inappropriate for young children. For smaller kids, I recommend Nathan or Mac.

Good Luck!

No magic show is perfect for everyone. Some shows are better for adults or children, and some emphasize comedy or drama. Choose the show that’s best for you. If it’s one listed above, you’re probably gonna have a great time!
