What is a mentalist?
A mentalist is an entertainer who uses magic, psychology and showmanship to influence thoughts and create the illusion of mind reading. It has the same energy as a Las Vegas magic show, but it fits on any sized stage.
Is a mentalist appropriate for corporate events?
Yes! Over 80% of Joe’s bookings are for company events, conferences, and associations. Joe’s San Diego clients include Spark Biopharma, Catalent, and many more. He’s entertained corporate audiences at the San Diego Convention Center, and small groups at the Hotel del Coronado.
We have a smart crowd. Can Joe impress our group?

Does Joe hypnotize people?
Joe DOES NOT hypnotize audience members or participants. There are no embarrassing situations, and the humor is NEVER at anyone’s expense. Everyone will be treated with courtesy and respect.
Are the audience members “in on it?”
Never! Everything that happens on stage is spontaneous and unrehearsed. Joe never uses actors, stooges, or hidden assistants, and there are no hidden electronics or earpieces. That’s what makes Joe amazing!
How long is Joe’s performance?
Shows run between 20-75 minutes, depending on your event schedule. Strolling entertainment (for cocktail receptions) is typically 2-3 hours in duration.
How much does it cost to have Joe at our event?

Joe has performed at Mystique Dining, but unfortunately the La Jolla, CA location is permanently closed. Here are some other public venues where Joe occasionaly appears:

All the time! He performs at company events and conferences nationwide. Please note that bookings in San Diego, Orange County, Palm Springs, and Los Angeles are “local” with NO travel costs.
